| Happy new 2013 - duo shows! |

The past year was nice and sweet, but 2013 could be an even better year. Recordings are going just swell and to celebrate that we will do some duo shows, of course playing some of the songs from the upcoming album.
Will be great fun, always fun with trying out things you haven´t done before. Come and join us at the following places:

| New recordings |

| A first recording session is now finished at Bongo Recordings. Vocals and guitars are recorded for all tracks. Next week piano and a lot of add ons will be captured. Feels great so far, and we are thrilled to be able to present this to you next year. |

| Combo version of Lounge + Pieces in both vinyl/cd! |

Ok, folks - it´s time to reveal what this years hottest Christmas gift is. It is nothing less than a split release of our earlier ep:s. Both Lounge and Pieces are sold out and that feels both a bit cool and a bit sad.
So, we talked to our lovely label and they liked our idea of a combination of the two ep:s AND of course available in vinyl version. Aint that suhweet? It is of course available in cd version as well. The records will arrive in Göteborg close to Lucia (14th of December) and if you don´t live on the other side of the world, orders will arrive before Christmas.
Please note that the picture used in the shop is from an early
stage in the process of mashing up the graphics from the two albums. We will present more pics soon.

Right now we´re gathered in the den, trying to figure out how each idea is to be treated in the best way. And there are loads of ideas. It´s extremely fun to be in this part of the creative process, writing melodies, lyrics and arranging it all.
It´s like a puzzle but without a defined end. We are the only ones who can tell if the puzzle is finished or not. If everything goes as planned we will be able to present the final result next year. |

| Stämbandsproblematik... |

Norge & Göteborg - vi var så rysligt peppade på att komma över och spille igjen. Såväl i vårt systerland som vår älskade hemstad.
Tyvärr är det så att stämbanden inte riktigt vill vara med oss. My har helt enkelt noll och ingen röst kvar för tillfället.
Vi tvingades ställa in de två sista festivalerna i sommar, för att stämbanden skulle få vila, men inte ens det hjälpte.
Det är för jävligt, men vi måste helt enkelt hålla oss borta från allt vad en scen heter på ett tag.
Annars kan det stå oss dyrt i längden.
Vi är fruktansvärt ledsna för detta, men hoppas samtidigt att ni alla förstår att vi musiker också är människor. Vi är gjorda av kött och blod, precis som alla ni andra.
Ibland kan man inte styra över sin egen tillvaro, den mänskliga kroppen har sina begränsningar, och nu har
en del av Mys kropp sagt "Stopp, du måste lyssna på mig!".
Vi jobbar under tiden på att hitta ersättningsdatum.
Ni kommer att få vänta lite längre, men förhoppningsvis blir det hela till det bättre. För under tiden som vi måste hålla oss borta från vägarna, så ska vi ägna oss åt att styra upp nytt material.
Bättre än någonsin ska det bli!

| Spelning på hemmaplan |

Efter en vår ute på vägarna nere i Europa med liveplattan Long Live Lounge, är det dags för Hellsongs att avsluta turnén på hemmaplan. Med tanke på att föräldraledighet och skrivarlya (för att påbörja arbetet inför nästa års planerade skivsläpp) stundar, så lär ingen spara på krutet.
-Som småbarnsförälder är det svårt att komma loss på kvällarna, men nu får man äntligen ett tillfälle att besöka nya Pustervik.
Vi har varit peppade på det här sedan året var färskt och känner oss löjligt glada och stolta över att Göteborg äntligen har fått ett ställe, som på alla möjliga sätt matchar de kontinentala spelställena!.
Om vi har tur så bjuds det på såväl extramusikerkompisar på scenen som nya alster i setlistet. Och missa absolut inte att Leo Skäggmansson öppnar kvällen med sin folkiga amerikana.

| Lott & Labertal festival canceled |

We´re extremely sorry, but we have to cancel the festival shows this upcoming weekend (Lott & Labertal festivals). The reason is that the golden voice of My isn´t really with her right now. It´s lost somewhere deep down and her vocal chords are in a brutally bad condition.
Trying to sing when you can´t even talk properly isn´t a good idea and doctors orders were strict, "Just keep that mouth shut!". As you all probably can understand, canceling like this is always a musicians last option. At the same time, what can you do? It has happened all and everyone, from Rihanna to Dr John, and after all, we´re only humans.
We hope that these two festivals will be just swell anyway and we miss you all. Playing live and at festivals especially is one of the greatest things there is in life.

Do we have to say that we´re mighty proud? Yep, we do.
How come, you might ask yourself. Well, a band member of ours
has struggled for some years with starting up a clothing brand of his own - and now he´s almost ready to launch it.
But before letting the world know more about Lounge Royale, Hellbender was kind enough to let us use these lovely boxer shorts as Hellsongs merchandise. They are 100 percent ecological, 100 percent Fair Trade and of course very much Hellsongs. And if you´re not into boxer shorts, well, we added some tees, hoodies and other stuff as well.
Everything as ecological and nicely made as possible.
